He asks for 6,060 GBP

Sell my Ariel Red Hunter VH 500 built in 1951

Cylinder was honed and a new piston installed.
Transmission has been overhauled.
Invoices (both repairs in 2025) are available.

The machine has run well so far.
After the last winter it jumps on, but goes out again after a few minutes. With Choke it runs better so without Choke.
Candles are totally dry, i.e. it is due to the fuel supply.
Ignition, valve clearance etc. should be OK and correctly adjusted.
Also brakes etc. work perfectly.

For the age a very good, pretty original condition.

TÜV until the end of the year, but is no problem if it runs smoothly again. But I have other projects and therefore have no time for the motorcycle.

Can be visited near Augsburg.

EDIT

Another interesting one in Germany with the heavy duty gearbox, although the dials are already not on the tank.

Ariel Red Hunter 500 VH
€5,200

Initial registration July 1952

Sell Ariel red Hunter VH 500 from 1952 with rigid frame.
The motorcycle has been for approx. 8 years in family ownership and is moved in good weather with a 07 license plate.
It runs and drives well, but at this age, no new vehicle is to be expected.
