Post by Vincent.vanGinneke »

- No Connection -

1930ies SV for sale in The Netherlands.
rear mudguard looks a bit short at the end, but I could be mistaken.
rear numberplate is a later part and rear lifting loop loops a bit wide
Lucas headlight is a later item.
Nevertheless a good looking Black Ariel.
No asking price given.

Ariel Model B, built in 1930.
The motorcycle has been fully restored and is ready to ride.
Includes a valid Dutch registration.
Photos of the engine block and gearbox overhaul and/or a video of the engine running are available upon request.
Trade-in/exchange of V-twin or other interesting pre-war English motorcycles or projects is possible.

Not just the rear mudguard and no plate, the front one looks all wrong as well as the all the mudguard stays, front no plate, oversized tyres, chainguard, top yoke, lower chainguard, battery strap, tank lining, horn front brake rod. Apart from that it does look pretty

Does a '30 have a lower chainguard? Here's hoping I can find a picture if there is something else I have to make!
cheers

On its own a nice machine, but as Roger says quite some wrong parts for a 1930 model B. Makes me wonder what price tag is hanging on this machine?
