I know it sounds dodgy, but it’s an innocent question, what finish did the factory employ for the spoke nipples on the four strokes in the late fifties?
Bare brass, nickel plated or what?
Thanks in anticipation.

Re: Nipple question
Hi
I took dull nickel plated ones out of my 58 FH restoration, can't be positive that they were original but they looked like they'd been there some time. The spokes were also dull nickel plated.
Regards Mick
