My dad recently passed away and I have allways looked at an old photo of him and his old Arrow, can anyone help my find out if this bike is still registered anywhere?
Thanks in advance Steve

DVLA Vehicle check is your first step. What's the registration number?

Steve - as well as the reg no would you be able to put up a pic?
(hopefully useful guidance here:

(And this is definitely a 'Where is it now...' so as admin I've moved it!)

How do I add a pic? The reg can clearly be seen on it 984 TPC he told me it was a blue dime with a gold tank but the pic is black and white

Click on the 'viewtopic...' link directly below (it's the guidance for adding pics)

TPC was a Surrey registration in a sequence used from April 1953 or again in January 1961 - the last one would fit with an Ariel Arrow.
984 TPC doesn't come up on the DVLA search so it's probably not made it onto the computer system - it's definitely not in use now and probably (unfortunately) left this earth many decades ago. However there's a small chance it's spent 40-odd years in someone's shed and a pic might jog someone's memory! 8-)

With a gold tank it should have been a Sports Arrow, maybe with the red grips and the small screen? I think 'blue dime' will have everyone extremely puzzled though - although it can be surprising what people can work out from even a black and white photo!
