Well it is now 4.30pm here on Christmas eve. I would like to wish you all a very happy Happy Christmas and a prosperous new year. In particular thanks to all the hard working people who keep this club going.

7 AM here in western Canada but I wished everyone a very merry Christmas already on another thread. Making stuffing for a 12 kilo Turkey then I will call my family across North America and the world.

At this time of year Americans (and, I'm told, Canadians as well) say "Merry Christmas," or "Merry Christmas and Happy New Year." However, it seems in the UK (and Australia?) you say "Happy Christmas." Do you also repeat the 'happy' and say "... and Happy New Year"?
