Hi,
I need a 1928 front brake plate and am a little bit confused.
In the Ariel 1928 Parts List is noted C14/5.
In the combined and illustrated Ariel Parts List 1926-1930 the brake plate is also C14/5 = 4080-26 and must fit all models 1926-1928.
But in Draganfly are listed 4080-26 for 1926-Model and 4080-28 for 1928-Model. ???
Which brake plate I must buy?
Best regards
Hristo

There are a few errors in the 1926-30 parts book, some are ones that were in the original single year parts books and some new ones added by the clerk writing the new book! Page 28 in particular is a bit of a mess and I have re-written it if you, or anyone else would like a copy, drop me a mail
membership@arielownersmcc.com.
Here is an extract of the table of differences that I compiled when we made the new brake plates that should answer your questions.

Perhaps the new page 28 could go in the library Roger?
I'd certainly appreciate a copy.

Thanks to all.
Problem solved - I have ordered the plate from Draganfly as described there, received and already fitted.
It fits perfect.
Thanks again.
Best regards
