Greas gun for small grease nipples

Hi, I've not been able to find a suitable grease gun or adapter to lubricate the small nipples ,

Any suggestions i have contemplated removing the nipples and using a syringe to grease.

I use a modern grease nipple and laboriously (its not that bad) swap them, grease them and swap them back again.

The old school way is to place a layer or two of woven cotton material (bedsheet) over the nipple. A modern gun fits ok then. The grease finds its way through the weave of the material when you pump the gun.

Put a small piece of cloth (or maybe a couple of pieces) over the nipple. You'll find the grease will push through the cloth and not come out the sides. (Does need a push-type gun and you need to be square on the nipple.)

A quick search on eBay will turn up quite a few of these under different brand names but all essentially the same. If you can find one with the longer nozzle, it’s useful to get into those hard to reach spots. I intitially bought mine to reach in through the spokes and grease bicycle hubs, but the nozzle at 0.6mm ID is small enough even to depress the centre spring loaded ball inside a standard nipple and apply grease through that too…

Look for ‘mini grease gun’ or bike/bicycle grease gun.
