According to my list the engine number BH32867 was part of a batch of 2250 W/NG 350's delivered between September 1943 and February 1944. The ghost of the original number can be seen above the AR on the outer case.

The original frame number associated with the engine would have been between XG 42001 and XG 42250.

It dates from 1943 and the originl frame was XG 42865. I suspect that this engine has come from a country where they insisit on their own numbers on the engine or that it is the same as the frame number, usually places like India and Pakistan. E8/494 is likely the casting number of a frame lug.
