Hello,
Has anyone done that, what are your experiences with it ?
Could someone post a picture of this modification ?
Best Regards,
Ralph

Hi,
David Anderson provided the attached (I think)
I have done the mod. Just be careful not to put the new hole to high up or you'll end up with too much oil in the outer case.

Hello,
I did the modification on my -57 NH and I'm very satisfied with it. The magdyno chain case is no more flooded. Cam lubrication is improved and even the mechanical noise sounds less disturbing. 2 pictures attached, 1386 shows the added .25 hole at the level of cam shaft centerline; 1379 shows the new drain tube fixed to the cambox outer case. Make sure the tube aligns perfectly with the existing .25 hole (lower hole in pic 1386) in crank case as you can't see inside when closing the cam box.
Regards,
Vesa
