Today I was at the RDW (Dutch equivalent for the DVLA) in Amsterdam for testing the NG to get it road legal. It passed the test, so now I’am waiting to receive my number plate!!

Thank you!! This petrol tank is from a 1948 NH and still bears his original colour and faded striping. Also the chrome did see better days, but I like it and keep it this way. This petrol tank has a very interesting history on his own. On the shown pictures at the RDW it looks darker then in ‘real life’.

Yes I agree, very good. This how it looks after nearly 80 years… the same for us, if we may reach this number… The tank rubbers are quite intact, but hard as a rock!
