Re: 1937 VH Project
Could be that the tank rubbers under it are a bit to thick.
Or/and you need to make a small half moon cutout where the stem/steering damper meets the handlebar bracket.
Is it a original bracket or one from Karol ?

Nice one Mark! Send some more pictures.
Actually i still have to paint the tank and sort out the electrics. And of course when I ride it I will discover some issues.

Next query!
I am trying to draw the tank lines for painting in accordance with the below document which looks what the forum experts follow for correct painting of this year.
For now i just marked the dots in each dimension given from the drawing but the lower point on the sides seems to be covered by the knee grips. Am i doing something wrong? I believe i have the correct knee grips.

Re: 1937 VH Project
This is the only period picture I have showing a 1937 model.
But it does show the knee grip position, hope this helps.
But you have the later type of kneegrips....

Re: 1937 VH Project
Thanks Vincent!
I thought this is the previous version of knee grips used up to 1936.
Maybe the design of the tank is different? The one i have attached says 34-37 but I would say it is more like 34-36. If that’s the case then maybe i have to adjust the lines slightly.
