Steve - to be absolutely sure you're on standard gearing (if you have any doubts) you'll also need to check the clutch sprocket as there are options for these too.
('54 Huntmaster had a 42-tooth clutch sprocket instead of the usual 44-tooth, and I think someone might have also made a 40)
And after this we might need to check the camshaft ....
