I also have valve lubrication solved in this way for my 1928 Super sport. My mechanic Patrik used it a long time ago.

It's a beautiful machine. I like to ride it. Lubrication works well.

Re: Daily Fixing and Riding Diary on an Ariel 2021
I've had a daft week,
Got a phone call in the week from my youngest daughter saying that someone's rang her saying they have an email from somebody who has my mobile phone and left his telephone number in the email. Now being as she rang me on my mobile and I answered it reassured me it wasn't lost
Then I thought about it. The radio I listen too on my bike is a mobile I stuck inside a leather case fixed to my handlebars. But I was certain it was still on to my other bike at home. But wrong, there was no sign of it at all.
Well apparently on my way to work it fell off into the path of a following cyclist, how on earth I didn't notice it disappear I'll never know. Joe the cyclist picks it up and now wants to try and get it back to me, luckily I hadn't set up any security or pin number to get into it. He just had to switch it on. He thought about it for awhile and decides to go into my gmail and send an email to a few of my contacts. Thats how I got to here about it missing. What a great guy,

Had a job near Lewis East Sussex, another water works.
A few large pumps. Going I rode the M27 and A27 which isn't much fun but coming home I used the A272. Much better.

Ahh but the wet ride to the job had a great place to park, under a hot air condensator, blowing warm air, perfect.

What a thing of beauty, just need to fix a belt drive to the rear wheel of a VB. Would make a perfect sludge pumpVincent.vanGinneke wrote:I know where that pump came from:
