I put together a few parts again. We made a new camshaft and it seems that its timing fit perfectly. I was afraid of minor deviations, but my worries were unnecessary. The timing is based exactly on the E model manual.

For model E, rollers were used to transmit motion from the camshaft. I had to use classic jacks from model C or D I couldn't find the original pieces of rollers. I hope it doesn't cause me problems at high speeds. The same jacks were used by my mechanic on the C model and everything is fine there

I sent the parts of the engine for nickel plating, so now I'm waiting and figuring out what I should do
I will probably just drive and enjoy the first warm days

today we had a checkpoint. Everything is lubricated, tightened and checked. We can continue driving.

This year is quite cold, but we are still doing well. We have already crossed the 500 km mark. So far, we only drive around Slovakia, but I believe that we will also get beyond the borders of our beautiful country.
I noticed that the tread pattern on my back cover was running out. At the end of the year, I will have to buy a new tire. maybe it will last me this season.
