As part of the rescue attempt, it went pretty well. Too bad I didn't take a few photos during the repair process.
Well, we basically cut the V-shaped holes down to the clean material and then filled it all in again with weld. Of course, we first let the cover heat up to 180 degrees and after welding we let it stabilize in the heat for a bit.

That's very nice. Was it TIG welded?

So we have already managed to disassemble the SF/1931 into parts. It seems that someone renovated the engine, but they were unable to start it. The cylinder with the piston is available to anyone interested. I already have another piece ready with a new piston.

we repaired the primary cover SB/1932 After welding we leveled the surface and drilled both ends together. To get the drill bit to the right place. We made some guide pipes. The outer diameter fit exactly into the hole for the screw and we were able to drill a small hole through it in the right place.

It was easy, we gradually drilled individual holes and cut the threads, always opposite each other. Screw by screw. Finally, everything fit and all the screws were tightened. This simple tool will help you repair the threads on your motorcycles. Sometimes common sense is enough and complicated calculations can be omitted.

Re: Ariel SB/1932 and SF 1931 my new project
Today we managed to finish another part of the Sloper and 4F6 puzzle. We just finished the magdynamo holder for these models. We have 3 types of holders ready. I'm glad that it was finally done.
The first parts from the chrome and paint shops have already arrived and we are just waiting for the desire to start putting the motorcycle together.
