With the Ariel rocker box can't you take the central plug out (above the rocker cups) and fiddle the push rods in with a thin screwdriver? The BSA rocker box doesn't have the central plug and is a real b****r to get the pushrods properly seated.

(It's been a long time since I played with a Huntmaster, or an A10!)

What would be a recommended substitute for "hermetite" here in Canada? Loctite? Permatex?

I've been using Loctite 5920 for high temperature applications - even the exhaust pipe to head joint:

Will this product work for a rigid "head to cylinder" fit with no gasket? I see that Loctite makes a "flange sealant" product as well..?
