Clarkson was just messing about - no change there then! I had a reliant for my winter transport back in the mid-seventies. It cornered fine as long as you drove it like you rode a pre-65 Triumph. As long as the rear wheels were driving the front went where it was pointed and it would corner surprisingly quickly but woe betide those who went in too quick and shut off mid-corner. Our kid had one and did just that, bottled out on an 'S' bend. The Reliant went on its side slid for about 25 yds righted itself and he carried on somewhat chastened!

Roger James - presumably the CA is the Bedford camper mentioned in your post? Dad owned one when I was a mere lad and we covered most of Britain in it over the course of many years and many annual holidays.
Do like your Arrows and the fact they get used for various pursuits - never liked them when younger but find them somewhat intriguing nowadays.
