Thanks Nev - I use the term simply because it's become very common here, like a lot of Americanisms. As for the red oxide paint of the plunger area, I'm interested to understand that myself. I have seen similar on other plunger S4s in the past and wondered about it. It isn;t a modified frame, so the reason is obscure to me.
