That's a different breed of dog!
This double gear has much larger dogs - helps they are on a 23T circle.

5 Dogs so this must be the TT gear set?

This gearbox is missing all clutch lever and kick start parts. I think I have the kick starter figured out but does anyone know if the BAP enclosed clutch lever is the same as the enclosed (AMC type) CP lever?

Yes it would be. The enclosed clutch lever appeared in 1938 and was used by most makers except Ariel. If you check a parts book you will see that the foot change mechanism is listed for both gearboxes. I mean an Ariel book that lists both boxes.

Dog engagement is pretty savage. Those dogs look a bit on the SMALL side. A CR gearbox makes it a bit easier on them. I always found the BA and CP gearboxes a bit "snicky" for fast gear changing. Nev
