Re: Wanted sq4 MK1 Dual seat
Dual seats were not fitted until 1953 but Feridax thought of the idea, which is why they are sometimes referred to as Feridax seats from around 1950, so an acceptable fitting as an after market item.

Re: Wanted sq4 MK1 Dual seat
Arguably, the first Ariels to have dual seats were the three ISDT bikes built in July 1952, of which my KHA has one of the frames. The dual seats used were the same as those used on BSAs of the period and are easy enough to fit to an Ariel, provided you have the 1953 front bracket and the appropriate rear bracket which goes on top of the mudguard. Check if Drags have the brackets in stock, then consider looking for a BSA dual seat. The one on my KHA started life on a BSA almost certainly but it cost me more to restore than a brand new seat would have cost.
