the alternator as it is tends to over charge the battery and will boil it , ending up with no electrolyte in it after a while .
if you are riding one day and the engine starts to misfire , or if you are riding and use headlights or indicators and it misfires but then comes back to life if you turn lights and indicators off , then it most likely the battery is dry .
if you are riding a leader it is more evident but also the arrow will suffer same issue if you dont keep battery topped up .
the un regulated alternator voltage wil tend to fluctuate between 6-9v and could do with being better regulated so you dont boil the battery .
best solution is to fit an AO services A-REG 6 regulator/rectifiter and then youll not overcharge battery .
