Re: Vch replica
Oh, thats not good for a new carburettor.
I was toying with the idea of a new 376 monoloc for my NH.
Did you correct the fault, or did you return it to the supplier, and what attitud did they take?
By the way, the bike looks good.

The monobloc was never much of a thing even when new. The Concentric is much better. Nev

Re: Vch replica
I corrected the carb myself, not sure if amal would be bothered or not if I complained. Amal carbs are no longer made in Britain. Obviously they are not checking them before posting them out to the customer.

Re: Vch replica
Lee - nice one!
Bit of a bu**er about the carb. I've been buying the premium Concentrics (from Amal) just because the pilot arrangement is much improved

Re: Vch replica
Thank you johhny and Simon, the concentric is one of their premium type carbs hoping for something better. I didn't expect it to be faulty. As I speak to people it turns out things like this is more common than I thought .
I'm pleased out the bike as turned out . Its not prefect by any means . But I think it has the overall look and feel of a real vch . It will never be a real one only ever a bitza . But a good reincarnation of rare model .

Re: Vch replica
That looks really good.
About the concentric, how did you identify the problem and how did you correct it?
(If I was to go for a concentric, as per Nev's suggestion above, how would I know what to look for in the fault?)
