I bought the bike that the PA is out of for only 4 times the cost of the speedo!

I am curious about the small lever at the bottom of timing chest. I saw a similar SG32 at a motorcycle rally few years ago. I am almost certain that SG32 did not have this lever. What is the purpose of this lever? Is it a valve lifter mechanism similar to Panther motorcycle? Was this an optional feature?

Although the VF was a lovely project I think you know this PA didnt belong with that bike, The VF came with a car speedo fitted which fell apartRoger Gwynn wrote: Sun Jan 09, 2022 11:48 pm I bought the bike that the PA is out of for only 4 times the cost of the speedo!

I have got a VB31 and a 38VB.
Never had the 38 up for sale but the 31 was the last bike standing.
Both are going to be ridden to Slovenia which is a fair distance of around 1100 miles . I’ve got a friend who’s gonna ride one so I don’t have to do the same trip twice
