So what needs doing:
1. the engine; it is all complete and looks to be in good shape. I've had the barrel off and can detect no up/down play on the conrod. Bore and piston look,
2. the carb
3. all Bowden cables
4. the tank needs checking (it was painted when I bought it)
5. there is a new exhaust pipe and silencer but they will need work to make them fit better
6. new gearchange rod, front brake rod and rear brake rod are needed
7. that's it from memory!
The new parts include:
1. tyres, rims, spokes, wheel bearings, brake shoes,
2. engine sprocket and shock absorber
3. gearbox sprocket, kickstart quadrant and spring, main bearing, gearchange arm
4. headstock bearings, fork spindles and bushes
5. brake plate arms front and back
6. mudguards front and back
7. number plates, handlebars and all controls
8. all chains (front, rear and magneto)
9. footrests
10. toolbox and leather front
11. acorn valve caps
12. and many other small items etc etc.
The magneto has been rewound, all nickel plating and painting has been done. And I've received an age related number from DVLA (BF nnnn)
