You are perilously close to where me and Dave Owen live (separately, I might add, not together...). You are more than welcome to drop by should you follow a similar route in the future.Steven.Carter wrote:Back home. Bike went very well all over the weekend, I suppose nearly 300 miles all told. a nice relaxing ride home, although she started to get a bit difficult to start towards the end.
Stopped halfway near Hackpen Hill near Marlborough. For our flask of coffee. Very refreshing.
Thanks Dave, great weekend

Re: Daily Fixing and Riding Diary on an Ariel 2021
Tuesday evening we did a ride check of our Sunday route to the Watercress line we've lined up for the Sunday of our Annual.
All went well, just a couple of minor things we have to change for our route sheets. Especially the one that was 10 miles out!!
cheers Mick
Happily going along on the side valve I heard a loud clang followed by something hitting my boot. Looking down towards my front axle I'd lost a nut holding my mudguard stay. Not a problem I thought I'll cable tie it up when I stop. What I didnt know was Roger behind me was having a slight crisis himself at the same time. Something had hit the road infront of him, got airborne and found the gap in his screen thumping his very recently dropped helmet visor. My nut I guess.

I've a trip to Hailsham today and a delivery. My customer cooperated by wanting 25mm infill inside the mats. Good squeeze and I got them on my bike.

Job in Norwich today, Wow what a horrible wet ride.
Here I am sheltering under the canopy at Thetford services. After my Job at the Spire Hospital I managed a nice coffee at Draganfly services
cheers Rodger.
Then another Coffee at Thetford service east bound. Where I had some chickens to keep me company
They seem to be making a living scrounging scraps off the drivers.
I'm now in Gravesend in a hotel ready for a job tomorrow in Sittingbourne.
Just had a couple of pleasant pints with a bite to eat, more birds to keep me company.
