Does anyone have any information on the square four spray bar modification . Pictures would be good .

Here is a photo of a spray bar fitted before the rear crankshaft is installed and the cases put together. I will add some more words and pics tomorrow.

Thanks for that I understand it a bit better now . is the feed taken from the return line .

The feed is taken from the thin oil pipe to the rocker box by adding a “T” piece. The feed to the spray bar goes into the timing chest then through the crankcase wall to where it is mounted above the camshaft.

Here is a picture of the parts that were in the kit provided by the club. The two gauges were not included. This kit is for a mark 2, but I ended up fitting it on a mark 1 but without a gauge.

Here is a test fit of the plumbing on the outside of the cases. A hole was drilled through the cases below the dynamo for the pipe to go inside.

Test fit of the spray bar in the crankcase with only the camshaft in place (crankshafts not fitted). Two holes were drilled in the crankcase bridge to accommodate the spray bar mounting bolts which can be seen with their lock tab. If you look very closely you can just see two of the apertures in the Spray bar where the oil comes out.
