Re: Double adult sidecar
That seems a bit pricey for a chassis and theres the job of removing wheel axle , mudguard and attachment points to change to left side , it looks like it was a Coffin carrier or for carrying the wounded on stretchers , it would be interesting to see it complete

Re: Double adult sidecar
I have done many thousands of miles on singles, often over the Alps and always with a pillion. Never used anything but a 23 tooth sprocket.

Re: Double adult sidecar
Some like Em and some hate em. I got thrown in at the deep end doing deliveries with an Enfield J2 while still on my "L"plates carrying truck engines at 16 years of age. Gave the engine and brakes hell in traffic. As I had to use the engine as a brake often the big end lasted a few months which I had to replace as I was the only mechanic who worked on Bikes All good fun in retrospect but big loads are hard on a bike. My wife's 1948 Harley "U" model had a commercial Dusting chassis and a Dusting duplex chair and was a good thing that ran like a clock. It had had a commercial chassis and heavy box for carrying motorcycles on it owned for years by a motorcycle dealer Frank Musset who was a Velocette works rider before the war. When I bought it from him it had done 350,000 MILES and that's NO BS. It's still going but I did rebuild it mechanically when I got it. in the 70's. Frame and forks were still dead straight. Nev

Re: Double adult sidecar
Many thanks for all your thoughts and replies. I see the Busmar on ebay is relisted so pondering that....
I have a small Briggs single seater - sort of 'Snoopy' profile - on an M21 which is great for self, wife and pooch.
I rather like the lines of the Dolphin so maybe wait to see if one comes up. I also have a roll of over 50 'Briggs' stickers that I had made up to natch the originals when I restored my unknown model - minimum order was 60 so if anyone wants some just let me know.
Cheers,
Bernie
