An update on fitting the upper chain guard.
The after market one I had from India had the top rear mounting captive nut in the wrong place for my bike.
It was close to the curved pump clip. Quite a way from where the mounting tab is on my rear mud guard stay.
Had a new nut tigged on and the now unused mounting hole tigged up. Some fettling/filing and painting later all mounts okay but the relief for the diagonal frame tube doesn't quite line up with the chain guard. I can live with that because if means I don't have any more tin work to deal with.
I am reluctant to say "I hate Tin Work".
