I fancy trying a Mikuni 28mm carburetor (which I already have) on my Arrow SS. Does anyone already have one fitted to their Arrow? If so was it worth doing and what jets, needles, settings etc. did you use? Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks Terry Langley.

Re: MIKUNI 28 on an Arrow SS
Hello Terry,
I have a 26 mm Mikuni carb on my Arrow but the engine is mildly tuned thanks to Ron at Fahron. The Mikuni works well and ticks over smoothly, starts hot or cold but it is a bit more complicated to set up especially when the engine is non standard. I had to use bigger pilot jets and bigger needle jets to get it to work well and that took time to get to know the carb and the effect on the engine performance.
I prefer them but my Leader with a 376 Amal also runs well !
