Hi Folks - with respect to streaching springs - such is unlikely to be a really permanent cure... the streach process will require repeating occassionally...
I'm going to experiment by winding some heavier guage coils as permanent resolution 'cos AMAL don't make a heavy duty spring option.
Such may seem a lot of faffing about - but I consider it worth the effort as I've never been happy with the Solex & it's plethora of jets.
Should I eventually develop a suitable spring "wind" for the Amal; - maybes I'll detail here...
Then Drags will copy it & charge you at least three testicles.
