Three identical brake plates, believed to be P/N 4467-51, but the plate in the center has an extra hole drilled in it. The brake plate came to me without any of the other brake parts.
Unless someone knows the plate with the extra hole in it is for a specific model, my guess is someone drilled this out and anchored a torque arm to it?
If the hole is not supposed to be there, think I'll take a run at plugging the hole before polishing. All three need a little more work before being ready for final polishing.
Also need the cam bushing for the center plate as well...but cannot find a part number for the bushing.

Re: Brake Plate - Extra Hole?
Paul,
I think the the extra hole is for the brake cable lug from the later 4467-53 plate - the ones that had the notorious "downward pointing" brake arms that caused wheel lock-ups.
If any of your plates are surplus to requirements please let me know since I still need one for my 52 VH basket case.

Do take a very good look across the plate(s) to see if the brakearmhole and the fixed point opposite are still in one plane, they tend to warp.
