Re: Flexible petrol pipe
I use plastic pipe with a stainless steel braided outer and clips with a bolt and nut rather than jubilee clips. The result looks good, original at first glance, keeps the petrol where it should be and lasts for years and years.

Just an observation. Shouldn't your tank mounting rubbers be the other way around? i.e.thicker one to the top to support the tank on the frame lug?

Re: Flexible petrol pipe
Thanks for all the helpful replies - I've now ordered 12" of the second type which will be about right for my bottom feed float chamber.

I think you're right. I tend to mix and match to stress the tank the least and to avoid clashes with handlebars etc.KenGriggs wrote:Just an observation. Shouldn't your tank mounting rubbers be the other way around? i.e.thicker one to the top to support the tank on the frame lug?
