That fridge behind the 550 looks a collector's piece too!

:) in fact the chopper pic is just a "before" picture , the picture on the stock bike is a 1954 huntmaster frame.
The fieldmaster project is'nt showing on any of the pictures.
Dont know if the 1954 huntmaster ever came in black but I had that black tank so I painted the rest black aswell.

Thats what the previous owner told me, and he bought the bike 1946, and it has a extra oilpump fitted that i've been told is a pilgrim.
But they could'nt be that usual on the tracks I guess??

When the Over Head Valvers came they where not reliable in the dirt ( open valve gear) so most of the riders stayed SV, not all new things where trusted, think of the first gearboxes, in 1913 there was a club against the gearbox with a lot of members.

Dear John,

I like the 1928 Ariel. I recently also acquired the makings of a 1928 - a basket case but it lacks an engine. I don't suppose you have come across anyone with an unloved engine or parts thereof? Either SV or OHV.

Also looking for an oil viewer/regulator.
