Photographed at Wiscombe Park, it's a 'GN Special' built by Kenneth Neve, last ran in the '90's

Had he been told that the rear six cylinders tend to overheat? ;-)

The GN Ariel or 'KN IV' was covered quite well in the Cheval of June 1990 when John Gallie owned it, I don't know if it has appeared to the club since then, he was going to bring it to the following Annual Rally but I never heard if he actually did. It has since been rebodied and one engine at least had a con rod disregarded the presence of the crankcase while taking the alternative route home...

Hi Jad, do you have any other photo's?
I'd be interested to know what it looked like.

Hi Brenton
As you might see this was my first post here and as such a new boy I won't start by posting car pictures on a bike forum, I'm sure they will come later! If you PM me with your email address I'll send you some pics, I have plenty of them but it's not everybody's cup of tea (or coffee!) I haven't owned a proper Squariel since the 60's and I wouldn't have raised my head above the parapet if Dave Thomas hadn't posted his pic.

Well it is Ariel related jadearling, I don't think I've been blackballed just yet!

The pic was taken by Martin Squires, he's in the bike press a lot lately as his excellent artwork is featured a lot. The Classic Bike writers have illustrations by him on their pages, of themselves and their bikes . Here's a link to the page on his site - Martin Squires Automotive Illustration- that carries more pics of the car and his sketches of the same ;
