Oil filter & air filter 59 350

Post by Paul Hutton »

Hi,

My bike is missing both of these. I’m told it never had an air filter when my father bought it circa 65. The in tank filter we think may have been lost in the strip down and rebuild process.

If anyone can help that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Paul

Air filters come up on eBay from time to time, they are not cheap and you need to be careful that you get the one for the singles -the one for the twins is different where the rubber part connects to the filter. You can get the rubber connector from Jeff Hunter Engineering.

The oil filter used to be available from Draganfly - they don't seem to be available anymore.

Hopefully some will have a second hand one?
cheers

Be careful when buying the correct Burgess air filter box Paul. The late NH one is specific to those models I believe. I have attached a couple of images of my 1957 NH filter which will be what you need for your 59 NH. Take note of the cut-out where the air filter rubber connects as it goes up and over the top edge of the top part of the box. Bottom of the two section box should be the same across the late 350 to 650 model range and is interchangeable.
