I had an amazing time there and I would like to share with you some photos from the Austrian Rally.

Every day we climbed to an altitude where trees no longer grew.

We spent two days driving around Austria and on the third day we also tried Italy. in the photos is the Austrian mountain Grossglockner

I think someone wanted to write an article about this event. It's definitely worth it, because it was very successful. If no one does it, I'll write something myself. At least for our website. Every evening, all sorts of adjustments had to be made to continue the next day. I love this way of life. Fun during the day and help from friends in the evening so that tomorrow there can be fun. Fantastic photos! That road up to the visitor centre looks a challenge for the old bike!
Definitely an event on my wish list. It looks like "The Sound of Music" meets Dakar Rally base camp...but with beer!

I hope someone can get the time to write it up. Those of us unlikely ever to get permission to go would really appreciate it

That brings back memories. I did a tour of that area in 2008, taking in the Grossglockner and the Stelvio passes.
Fantastic scenery.
I was on a BMW 1150 GS Adventure, not an ancient classic Ariel!

This part of Austria and Italy is really beautiful. At least for those who like mountains.The greatest credit for this great rally goes to these brave young people. The group around the Pacher brothers always chooses beautiful locations for the rally.

These photos are from Italy. There were red rocks everywhere and no trees. It was already high. Every day we climbed 3000 meters in altitude.
