What tire pressure would you recommend for my 1954 VH with Avon Roadrider tires—3.25-19 at the front and 100/90-19 at the rear?
Any advice welcome.
Thanks Klaus

Re: Tire pressure 1954 VH
Maybe 28psi front/32psi rear?
I think Avon originally recommended the 'standard' modern pressure for these (36psi front/42psi rear) but some people on their Nortons (Andover Norton again!) found the tyres were wearing quickly and Avon then recommended lower pressures - but still higher than the low 20s that we used to use on our old Brit bikes.
I started with 36/42 but now I use 28/32, but I have found with the Roadriders that they seem to tolerate losing some pressure (maybe down to the low 20s) without my noticing - but that might be down to my not 'ear 'oling' the bike at the time.

Re: Tire pressure 1954 VH
I use 28/36 on both my FH and my Mark 1, both using Roadriders.
And I'll certainly second Simon's comment about losing quite a lot of pressure before I notice!
