Hi , I am fitting a reconditioned A6/664 cam shaft (draganfly part number 1760-29) to my 1938 500cc VH Red Hunter . What are the tappet settings?

Inlet just free and Ex about .003". That's what I use on iron Motors. Camshaft shouldn't make much difference. They open up as the Motor gets Hotter. ' Use VG valve springs. The VH ones are too strong. (scuff the cam lobes). Use a decent 50 weight oil with antiscuffing additives, Nev

Thanks for your response ,you are correct about the valve springs .When I received my new valve springs ,I questioned Draganfly about the springs they supply for the VH engine. They confirmed that they supplied the correct items. I will order the springs recommended by yourself.
