KH Big End bolts

Post by Keith.owen »

Hi,
The Big End Bolts (the ones that hold the con rods together and keep the shells in place) seem to be hard to come by, for the KH.

Am I missing a trick; is there a substitute that someone knows of?

BR,
Keith

Are yours missing or damaged because if you are just wanting replace them as a matter of course, I wouldn't bother unless the old ones are showing damage. They are not prone to failure.

Bolt part number K138-48 same part number used in square 4 (1937 - 58)
Nut part number SN3 also used in SOME square fours
Washer part number 10418-54 (so spanner will fit)

Taken from Draganfly list 15

Hi Problem is that they are only available on back order and it is very uncertain as to when they might become available; trouble is as one advances in years the question becomes 'will I still be around/able to ride, by then'?
