I just came across a post regarding a refurbished petrol tank and thought the owner said something about applying transfers to the tank.
Anyone know of a company now supplying custom petrol tank transfers?
Would make things much faster and cheaper to apply top and side transfers in red or black with pin striping.
Not worried about entering contests.

Re: Petrol tank transfers
Thanks Mick,
Yes, I have used them in the past for W/NG, petrol tank Contractor Numbers.
Looking at their catalogue, it doesn’t appear that anyone has requested painted panel transfers, complete with pin striping.
The cost of chroming a tank is now prohibitive.
Would like to experiment with a high end chrome paint, overlaid with transfers.
A vinyl wrap could be another option. It would be done with a chrome look and the painted panels built in.
