I do them up tight without a lockwasher, I can't remember when I had one come loose. Draganfly make them in 3 sections following a tip in Cheval about 40 years ago we also make the screws without a slot so that a socket has to be used, thus increasing the chance that the fitter will do them up tight.

The bolt has to be Made correctly with a Plain section where the Shear takes Place Worn Bolts and Ovalised holes should be rectified No
oil around and probably Loctite in . Nev

Yup, bolt not set screw as original

Blue Locktite (medium strength) works, But I like a tab washer, easy to use and they do what is asked of them.
