Gear change spring

Hi

Can anyone tell me how the gear change spring is attached. Colt burman gearbox.

If it follows the same pattern as the GB box that spring will be fitted to the inside of the cover plate, probably with the ends being kept sprung apart so that it fits over the selector plate. As the plate moves up and down it would then engage with one end of the spring in each direction.
(Not that I've never seen the insides of a Colt Burman box!)
The thumbnail pic needs to be rotated 90 degs clockwise, the full -size pic is the right way around.
(And with admin hat on moved to 4-stroke section 'cos this is definitely 4-stroke technical...)

hi, maybe you can try Goff Brown the clubs gearbox and clutch spares he will know he is very good and helpful
