As allways, plans have altered… initialy I planned to build a VG. But I changed my mind, it will be 1953 VB! Sunday evening Roger, on his way back to England from the Christmas Diner in Germany, dropped a VB engine at my place. It came from a club member from the north of England. Many thanks Roger!! :D :lol:

They have their OWN charm and need an exhaust valve made of top metal and the valve clearance adjusted to suit. Run it up a hill with the cover off and see that there is always some clearance. Ex valves get hotter than with OHV motors and Pipes go more blue. Don't have too much restriction in the silencer. Nev

Yes I agree, allways regret that I have sold my first trusty 1933 557cc model VA.

Work in progress… 1953 Ariel VB frame, 1939 oiltank + BA gearbox, 1955 engine, 1954-1955 VB petrol tank. New bigend, smallend, piston and rings. And 2025 rearstand and spring… :D

Will also fit a electronic ignition on this one, works perfectly, and easy to install😀
