Hi all,
Just joined the forum. I've long been an admirer of the Marque.
I am in the market for a pre-war RH500 or SQ4.
Prefer oily rag :D
Simon.

Welcome to the forum Simon. Good luck with your search for the Ariel of your dreams.
The square four is the more challenging of the two possibilities you mention; because, unless you are 100 per cent sure that the crankshaft oil ways have been cleaned out recently; the first thing you need to do, on acquisition, is dismantle the engine.
If you are up for that, then go for it. If not, then the RH500 may be a better bet. Cheers, Chris.

I'd noticed that too.

Why do people have to be so coy about the registration number? Surely the first thing
any serious potential purchaser is going to do is run a check via the DVLA website anyway.
