Hi has anybody got the full wiring diagram 1956 kh500 field master please, I have got a part one but it does not include coil or magneto wiring. The guy previous has required the bike but all the wires are the wrong colours, it is also fitted with Thor spark electronic ignition and a new rectifier. At the moment I’m at a complete loss.

Hi

An original diagram will not include the magneto as this is a stand alone ignition source. If you use the diagram you have and incorporate the one for the Thorspark you'll have a working system. Or if you post the diagrams you have we'll tell you what to do.

Re rewire it’s a kh500 1956 model the wiring loom he has fitted came from dragonfly but I suspect it’s the wrong one for the bike as none of the colours match and appears to be to many wires so I think the best thing is to start again.

That's the diagram I would expect, have you asked Draganfly if they supply wiring diagrams for their looms?

As far as I know, Thorspark is a coil ignition kit with a Hall effect sensor fitted in the magneto - They say there is two wires from the sensor to the coil and there must be a power supply taken from somewhere.

Can you take a series of pictures? I would suggest that you take a picture of each area where wires terminate, i.e. around the battery, around the voltage regulator, around the dynamo, headlight, taillight and anything else you can think of. As you can see from the diagram these aren't very complicated and we can make a start if we can see and correlate the coloured wires you have with the wiring diagram.

Lastly - I think you are in South Wales? Anyone nearby who can help?
