I like that, but got enough really. Did anyone see what the bike sold for, know where it went? Has the register ever listed how many bikes of what model survive?

I have never listed that information from the register but can supply individual snippets on request. I have plans to do a series of articles on the register including the main interest of how many were made and how many survive. I could do with someone to take over the role of membership sec so I have a bit more time for the long list of things to do when I retired!
As the despatch books for 1926 has not survived we only have a reasonably accurate guess at how many were made but no way of knowing how many of each model. About 11,000 were built in 1926, there are 40 frames and 38 engines in the register (2 of the frames have something other than a 1926 engine) split Model A=9, B=7, C=7, D=5 unknown=10. This is a survival rate of 0.36% that puts the 1926 models in last place for survival in the 1926-65 period.
