Re: Selling Bikes, best methods.
Thanks for all the advice, all very sensible, I apologise for my delay in thanking all of you.
A hint is, I'm now in the market for a new PC, at least the computer crashed, not me.
I will take pictures and ask for offers on this site, as soon as my PC is repaired or renewed, using my wife's laptop at the moment, don't like the lack of mouse
Thanks again.
Reg

I too have sold Ariel bikes on Car and Classic, so agree with Bernie’s comments above. I used the listing option and not the auction. The listing option is free.

At the moment with less than 2 days to go bids are : SQ4 3500,- Huntmaster 1200,- and NH 800,-
I really hope that the bidders pull a sprint towards the finish as these numbers look pretty low.

hi, on Ebay you will get people that will run the price up and win it but don't come for it i was selling a bike 2 years ago and he didn't pay or come for the bike i got in touch with him and he said was to tall for it i said how can you be to tall it has not got a roof , and you get a lot of time wasters on marketplace who say they are coming but do not show up

Re: Selling Bikes, best methods.
Well I have to be honest and say I sold twelve bikes on ebay at auction last year and every buyer treated me with respect and paid promptly and collected or organised collection even the guy from India who bought one of my Enfields wasn't a problem, I am selling a few more this year and I hope the sales go as well.

Nev, not mine the bikes, Reg Webster's
auction site does not give the results, unless I sign up for being pestered by their AI system.
so, what happened ?

Thanks Andrew,
Those are pretty low results.
One cannot buy or seriously restore any of those Ariels for that amount.
