There are quite a few Square Four engine parts missing, such as timing sprockets, chain and tensioner, valve top collars and crank nuts, hardened steel washers, oil pressure relief valve, oil pump and sliding block, etc. the pistons are indeed Mk II type.
Quite what the KH/KG is I don't know, but the frame has been modified, probably from a single, as evidenced by the bend in the front down tube and the welded on front engine plates. Ariel only used curved frame tubes in 1927 and so many frames broke that they never repeated using them so I would be very wary of this one.

Thank you Paul for your feedback, really appreciate it. I also wondered why the bent frame. Looked strange as the bent didn't seem like a defect, rather a design it seemed. Now it makes sense.
