Alloy Barrels 500/350

I posted recently regarding production of the Ariel 350/500 alloy barrels. I had a call last week from Jason of MD patterns in Elsecar, South Yorkshire to advise me that the price of a finished barrel, lined and ready for final boring, is £500 plus a bit for postage. You can contact Jason on 07970347816. His dad, Mick, was the original aftermarket supplier of these and also for BSA Bantam alloy barrels for trials and road racing.

I posted in 2022 regarding supply of these barrels. Jason Dickinson, son of Mick, was intending to continue production of these barrels following the death if his dad, who was the sole supplier. Jason has now passed production of these onwards. The new supplier is John Carter, based in Ipswich. He will be supplying the barrels in all stages of production, from bare castings to fully finished, and says he intends to supply all configurations to suit bore and stroke. He thinks he'll be in full production mode after Christmas, but might have bare castings available before then. His number is 07733170566. A helpful guy.
