Just got back from a run and noticed a small amount of oil below mag chain cover renewed washers round rocker feed and pressure valve but still had a small amount of oil at the bottom of the cover got a feeler gauge and found that I could slide the feeler gauge under the cover gasket,

Hi All,
When I rebuilt my engine 20 years ago the inlet valve had very slight play and the exhaust a bit more and it seemed fine no tightness unlike the first ducati V4 which suffered valves seizing up and locked engines on the first 1000 engines sent out reported in the MCN they were sorted quickly ...

Hello Kevin,
After my rebuild I took it gentle no high speed runs and no slogging in high gear up hill pop it down a gear just take it gentle and change the oil after about 500 miles and check the oil colour should be clean and check the plug colour after a few miles to make sure it's not running ...

I have a very nice box that held a friends horse ashes which I had to empty where they use to ride, when I get it attached to the bike I will send a photo its just the right size for spanners and leggings etc., regards Clive

1929 frame ?
Hello All, I have a 1929 SV the chassis number starts with a H but it has been stamped into the frame, it also has a 1927 tank which is no problem, I think the bike is a bit of a made with bits that they had.
The chap I bought it off of had had it 20years plus and it needed a bit of work plus engine ...
